Repair Services

Before calling REPAIR, test your telephone equipment on another phone jack. If you have any cordless phones plugged in your jack, unplug them all and plug in a regular analog phone. If that telephone does not work correctly, call Niner Phone Service at ext. 78800. If the problem is in your equipment, you must arrange for the repair with an off campus repair service.

UNC Charlotte Telecommunications does not repair/service privately owned telephone equipment. If a UNCC technician is dispatched to your room and no malfunction with UNC Charlotte equipment is found, or the problem has been caused by a cordless phone a $25.00 service charge will be accessed. Telecommunications will repair UNC Charlotte -owned lines and equipment at no charge, but a fee will be accessed for user-caused damage.
